When spraying, be sure to spray at once on each one of the bees holes to get desired results. You may use caulk. Place it over the opening of their nest to make sure they can't go in or out. Another effective way is vacuuming their nests. If this method seems appealing, here is the way to do it. Utilise a long and thin stick to annoy the nest. When they attempt to escape, plug the vacuum cleaner firmly on the opening of the hole and use the vacuum to suck the carpenter bees into the vacuum cleaner. Make sure you find all the holes they have made. Generally, these holes are completely round in and are of about Five / 8" in diameter. You can also spot some saw dust under the hole. Your aim must be to encourage the bees not to flee from the vacuum cleaner and into the hole. If you don't desire to eradicate the carpenter bees, release them so far as possible from your property, their nest and you neighbor's property.
When disposing of carpenter bees, avoid them if you are allergic to bee stings. This is because bees do not sting. Though males do not, the females can sting. You can shed these bees naturally by using almond oil. This substance is a natural discouragement to these bees. Do not go for this method if you are allergic to nuts. You can spray the almond oil using a pressure sprayer. Also, you can use a brush to apply the almond oil on the area affected. The remaining almond oil can be stored for use in the future. Avoid any chemicals which you may be allergic to when dealing with such bees. There are also many insecticides you can use if you don't wish to give them some encouragement to leave your house to another location.
