What am I talking about? Elder Scrolls v is a very organic game to play. It will grow through you, and with you, and on you. How you play it is what it will become.
The engine it uses, that was used for Fallout 3, another awesome and original RPG, has been totally rewritten by the development team, to be called the Creation engine.
This engine can create a much more realistic, and dynamic world, with real-time weather systems, and incredible detail in vegetation, like wind in the branches of trees, or wind swept channels on the water.
The mountains in the distance are not just cheap backdrops. No. You can really climb right up on top of them.
The other dynamism that can not be praised enough, is the Radiate Story AI that allows for self thinking NPCs, infinite dragons that can show up at anytime and attack the city. Do NPCs have I life of their own? Yes. They will fight over the loot you drop, or go farming and do other activities on their own, sometimes it will be hard to find them, etc.
So what this boils down to is that the world you play in, and the story it tells will change, quests, and NPCs, will adapt to the choices you make in the game. For each player the story will be different.
The introduction of dual wielding is cool. You can use metal with magic, or knives and hammers. You can combine any weapon, and if you use both of the same weapon that will give your attacks even more power.
Now you are no-longer locked into one particular class like guardian, or thief, you can now dynamically develop any character you want with any skill set, using perks you can store. Yes it is true you can create a thief wizard, or a guardian assassin, or a captain hunter, or a hunter thief assassin, whatever you want.
You will find something to do just taking a stroll in any direction. The developers love the little things as much as the big things. A lot of attention has been put into every little detail. So killing a rabbit will have meaning in the game.
I could go on and on, there is so much more to the game than what I have listed here, but if I haven't sold you on it yet, than you probably aren't a serious RPG player. No problem none RPG players play this game that's how appealing it is.
