What Is A Kindle? A Virtual Library
A Kindle on the philosophical level is the flame, the light bringer. What is a Kindle physically? Commonly referred to as an e-reader, a Kindle is a reading tablet, very modern.
It uses a thing called E Ink, which works almost the same as real ink, to display the words of the book on the screen. How does the Kindle fill the pages with this ink? Electronically! Its better than other e-readers because it adds 50% more contrast and sharpness. Unlike other tablets, there is no reflections or glare even at the beach under the noon sun. So when I first saw the thing, I asked the same question: what is a Kindle? I had no idea how it worked. Because looking at the screen I could not believe it. I thought I was looking at a page of a book with real ink on it. Strange. It is so cool, but how it works I could not tell you, all I know is that it works great. Kindle exposes self published authors, authors that truly have something to say, and are not controlled by the big publishing houses. Kindle brings these books to light that you would normally never be able to read, books written by unknown authors. These authors are the torchbearers of the truth, and worthy of reading.
