Module Diy

Joomla Module

Joomla templates can be found, for free and for a charge, for developers and designers of website. These are distributed by websites of developers by individual developers. The template contains module positions. However, these module positions are sometimes not obvious or accessible.

There are providers and developers of Joomla template who will provide you the module positions in their templates. Most of these can be found in the form of a graphical representation. But this isn't always the case. This means that, once you have found the perfect template for your website, the module location from the template may not be available.

For the module location to be made available, you are able to go to the Joomla website. In the website, you access the admin area. Once you have accessed the admin area, clicking on the “Content Menu” and then the “Article Manager”. You choose New making a name for the article.

After giving a name for the article, access the “Menu” and judge “Main Menu”. Once you have done so, you will see “Select Food selection Type”. Under this, choose “Articles” and then “Article Layout”. In the item “Title”, type a unique name and then on “Select Article”, choose the article that you have just created, click “Select” and then “Save”.

You then proceed to the next step. You access “Extensions Menu” and click on “Module Manager”. After this, choose “New”, “Custom HTML” and then “Details”. About the left side of “Details”, choose “Position” appear menu and click on the first item in the list. In the title, create the same name as the name in the position. Place this position name in the “Custom Output”. In “Menu Assignment”, set “Show Title” and “Enabled” to “Yes” and then choose the article page you have created. Click “Save”.

To access all of the positions under “Positions”, you repeat the step from Extensions Menu onward. Afterwards, you will see the modules you have created with the position name you have chosen to type. These make up the names of available positions in your template.

In the front end, you will see the menu link, “Module Placements”. Here you'll view the module position available in the template.

These are the steps to see Joomla Module Position for every template. Not all of the positions can be made available since not all are necessarily utilized in the template. You can then choose which ones to add content for your website. Sneak in at http://joomlamodule.org/ for more details.
