A-Rod and Poker Game Type: what it tells me
I'm an armchair psychologist, so don't take what I say seriously, but I think it tells you a lot about someone when you find out what their favorite Poker game type is. % keywordcap2% for straight poker is a laid-back game. People who play 3-card draw enjoy options and have a good idea of probability. Then, there are the serious players: Texas Hold'em. I started to think about this when I ran across an article on Poker game type at Poker game type in the article section and I thought how it related to A-Rod’s latest troubles. I’ve spent a lifetime mastering, or actually trying to master Texas Hold'em. Most of the people I play against want to act-like big shots and ruthless players.
I studied psychology as an undergraduate, wasted years, of course, but I like to use it to learn something about people and maybe take down a large pot. It is the Texas Hold'em to win money at.

I don’t think anybody was surprised by this. A-Rod's poker setup is my dream. Apparently, the Poker game type. of choice for these whales is Texas Hold'em. This makes sense. These guys play by their own rules, try to act macho, and have an over-confidence in their abilities.
It sounds a lot like what people have told me about A-Rod. And, how stupid would you have to be to get caught this?
