Voters of Dalmatia Wine Expo holiday selected 40 top cafes in Dalmatia, as well as the best wine-friendly restaurants.Connoisseurs of gastronomy have chosen forty best restaurants in Dalmatia. The criterion for proposal was the overall impression during the visit as reported guide2croatia.net.

Makarska is sometimes called the centre of the encompassing Adriatic area known as Makarska Riviera. Since the mid twentieth century,it is also a focus of tourism. Makarska is the first beach resort town along the Makarska Riviera in Croatia, south of Split. Behind the town the galvanizing Biokovo mountain range rises up to 1700 m inside just a few kilometers from the sea. Also near Makarska, you may visit Biokovo State Park, the mountainous area behind Makarska. Though you can walk on foot into the mountains behind Makarska, if you would like to reach the best mountainous areas, you'll have to drive to the official park itself.
