Learn the Benefits of Using Stand Up Tanning Booths
When it comes to tanning, most people lay down in a tanning bed. However, you'll also have the option of using a stand up booth instead. These tanning booths are starting to gain in popularity for many reasons. If you want to learn the benefits of using them, then make sure you keep reading.
The main problem with lying down is that some areas of your body won't get tanned as much. The severity of this will depend largely on the type of lamp inside the bed. No one getting a tan wants this to happen.
One of the advantages of using a tanning booth is that you don't have to worry about this problem. You'll have the ability to move around in order to get an even tan.
You should also know that most tanning booths have stronger bulbs than tanning beds. You could get a better tan in less time. This is certainly a huge benefit if you don't have a lot of time to spare.
Everybody that lies down will be subjected to certain pressure points. In these locations, your tan may not be as even since blood won't flow as well. The shoulder blades, hip, and back are commonly problematic areas. Pressure points aren't a problem whenever you're using a stand up booth.
When it comes to tanning beds, then hygiene may also be a problem. Someone else will probably have used the same bed a little while previously. The beds are supposed to be cleaned after each use though. Hygiene won't be a problem when standing up since you're not touching anything.
Traditional tanning beds may not be an option for you if you suffer from claustrophobia. It's very uncomfortable to lie down in an enclosed area in these cases. If this is a concern for you, then using a standup booth is the best thing you can do.
In a booth, you aren't limited to staying still during the session. You don't have to stand still like a scarecrow while getting your tan. If you were lying down, you wouldn't be able to move around as freely in order to ensure an even tan.
You may get tired when standing up in a booth for a longer period of time however. The amount of time that you'll be tanning will depend on how uncomfortable this can be.
