Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, The One Word Other Than Dynamic Would Be Organic, When Explaining This Game
Why buy Elder Scrolls 5? I will definitely tell you why And believe me there is more than one answer. But to point out one very important reason it would be for me it’s dynamism!
What do I mean? Skyrim is an organic experience. It will grow through you, and with you, and on you. It will become what you want it to become.
The engine has been totally rewritten by the development team, to be called the Creation engine. It was the engine used by Fallout 3, another awesome and original RPG.
So what can this engine do? A lot! It creates a realistic and intricately dynamic world. It creates real-time weather systems, intricate detail in vegetation, and wind in the branches of trees, or wind swept channels on the water.
The mountains in the distance are not just boundaries and cheap backdrops. No. Its a rugged terrain and you can walk to them, and climb to the top of them.
And what about the dynamic of the Radiant Story AI. This system allows for self thinking NPCs, and infinite dragons that can show up at anytime and attack the city. NPCs have a life of their own and will fight over the loot you drop.
So what this boils down to is that the world you play in, and the story it tells will change, quests, and NPCs, will adapt to the choices you make in the game. The story will be different for every player.
Another very dynamic system is the dual wielding of any kind of weapons, like metal with magic, or knives and hammers, and combining both of the same weapon will give your attacks even more power.
Now you are no-longer locked into one particular class like guardian, or thief, you can now dynamically develop any character you want with any skill set, using perks you can store. So you can create a thief wizard, or a guardian assassin, or a captain hunter, whatever turns on your lights, etc.
You will find something to do just taking a stroll in any direction. The developers have put a lot of attention into every little detail. This means that killing little things may have meaning.
Of course there is so much more to the game than I can list here, are you sold on it yet?. That's OK, even none RPG players are buying this game.
