Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, The One Word Other Than Dynamic Would Be Organic, When Explaining This Game
Why buy Elder Scrolls 5? Can I tell you why? There are countless reasons I could list. But to point out one very important reason it would be for me it’s dynamism!
What am I talking about here? Skyrim is an organic experience. It will grow with you and on you. It will become what you want it to become.
The engine it uses, that was used for Fallout 3, another awesome and original RPG, has been totally rewritten by the development team, to be called the Creation engine.
This engine can create a much more realistic, and dynamic world, with real-time weather systems, and incredible detail in vegetation, like wind in the branches of trees, or wind swept channels on the water.
The mountains are not just cheap visual boundaries. No. You can really climb right up on top of them.
Self thinking NPCs, infinite dragons that can show up at anytime and attack the city, is the result of the dynamic Radiant Story AI which brings that much more realism to the game. Do NPCs have I life of their own? Yes. They will fight over the loot you drop, or go farming and do other activities on their own, sometimes it will be hard to find them, etc.
The entire story, quests, NPCs, will adapt to the way the player plays. The story will be different for every player.
The introduction of dual wielding is cool. You can use metal with magic, or knives and hammers. You can combine any weapon, and if you use both of the same weapon that will give your attacks even more power.
Now you are no-longer locked into one particular class like guardian, or thief, you can now dynamically develop any character you want with any skill set, using perks you can store. If you like you can make an assassin thief, a captain wizard, any kind of custom class you want.
Just about anywhere in the Skyrim world you will find something to do. There has been a tone of focus put into every little detail. Kill a rabbit and craft something, for example.
I would like to tell you more but there is not enough time. If you are not sold on it yet, than maybe you are not an RPG player. No problem none RPG players play this game that's how appealing it is.
