A Gift To Include In Your List
Since there is a myriad of fantastic holiday gifts out there for kids it can be rather challenging to find the right one for your own child. One gift that we reviewed this year was the Kid Trax Red Fire Engine Electric Ride-on At first we were somewhat nervous about this child's toy since it is actually a movable fire engine and is a ride-on toy. In addition, the recommended age for this toy is 2 to 5 years. At this point, we did not thank that to many parents would allow their children in this age bracket to play with a moving ride on vehicle. That is what caused to really discern whether or not this would be an appropriate gift this year for our child.
A Fire Engine That Moves
This red fire engine has a two speed transmission and is a ride on vehicle toy. This movable toy vehicle also has a working spray hose, battery charger, megaphone and other removable rescue items. Although we were worried about allowing our child to drive around in this toy, we were very excited to see that it actually provides a lot of educational value. Children can learn and see what real firemen use to save others in life threatening situations such as fires.
How Fast Does it Go?
Our major concern about this product was letting our two year old drive around in a movable fire engine. However, the Kid Trax Red Fire Engine only travels up to 5 miles per hour and is not dangerous at all. Even a very protective parent would agree to this since this is about the same speed a two year old can go by pushing it with their legs.
Will Children View This As A Fun Toy?
By now we felt better about letting our children ride on the Kid Trax, and we even liked the idea that it didn't go very fast. But that's not all that surprised us. The Kid Trax Engine comes with flashing emergency lights, a working fire hose, as well as a lighted dashboard. All of this spells a great time for any kid who will surely want to spend a lot of time on it.
Overall we came to the conclusion that the Kid Trax Fire Engine is not only safe but extremely fun for our child making it a spectacular holiday gift. It is safe, fun to play with, and educational as well. There is always a chance that this could even inspire you child to become a fireman in the future. I actually wish there was such an amazing toy to play with back in the day when I was a child. The battery that powers the megaphone and lights will last up to ten hours. With all of these great features and the fact that you can ride and drive it will bring a large smile to your child's face!
